BCUR 2027 invites submissions across a wide range of formats to accommodate the diversity of undergraduate research and creative practice.

Students must also include a content warning if their research contains discussion of sensitive topics.

Submitted abstracts will be subject to peer review, and applicants will be provided with feedback for revision. Following resubmission, abstracts will be re‑evaluated, and successful applicants will be formally notified of final acceptance, which confirms their role as conference presenters.

All submissions, whether conventional or creative, will be assessed using the same academic criteria, with an emphasis on clarity, originality, and the ability to communicate research effectively.

Please note:

  • Early submissions from international students requiring a visa are strongly encouraged. We aim to complete the review of these submissions by the end of December to allow sufficient time for visa applications and travel arrangements.
  • All other abstracts will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with final acceptance decisions communicated to applicants by mid-February at the latest.
