Himanshu
My name is Himanshu, and I am a 2nd year Math student here at Queen Mary. I am very excited to be a TELT student ambassador as I like tech and helping individuals! I have volunteered in hospitals talking to patients face to face; thus, I understand how clear communication and direction to individuals make a positive impact.
Orela

Hi! My name is Orela, and I am currently in my final year as a Technology Degree Apprentice at PwC, working in Data & AI. Throughout my apprenticeship, I have really enjoyed being able to think innovatively and collaborate with my colleagues to solve complex problems. Outside of work, I love music and going to concerts or live-music events, and I also enjoy reading, playing netball, and trying out new food spots.
I am delighted to be joining the TEL Team as a Student Ambassador, as I know how confusing it can be to suddenly have to get to grips with a range of different technologies. I look forward to engaging with students and delivering presentations that promote understanding of the digital platforms we manage. I am also keen to draw on my own experiences using TEL technologies to suggest improvements to the student experience.
Welcome Week was truly an amazing experience! From scouting students in Library Square for our sessions, to manning the stall and handing out TELT merch to those who followed us on Instagram, to finally delivering the training sessions themselves, I loved meeting such a diverse range of individuals and being a friendly face for often very nervous freshers. I gained valuable experience in communicating clearly and effectively, as well as providing a welcoming environment for new students.
I am excited to continue working with my fellow ambassadors and embark on new and fascinating projects!
