Large group interactive teaching in practice

Do you find teaching large groups challenging? Want to try something new in a large group session, but not sure if it will work? This workshop explores the basics of large-group interactive teaching, allowing you to experiment in the space of a large lecture hall. This low-stakes exploratory environment will allow you to ask all your questions, try out the equipment, and get feedback from peers. 

After completion of this workshop you will be better able to: 

• Deliver an interactive learning experience tailored to large groups, incorporating evidence-based strategies to enhance engagement. 
• Demonstrate effective communication skills in a large-group interactive teaching context. 
• Provide and respond to constructive peer feedback on large group teaching, with the aim of improving your own teaching practice.
