Exploring AI features in Mentimeter for teaching and learning

The session will be delivered by Ebba Elman (Mentimeter Representative), Abigail Mason, and Estelle Taylor (QMUL TELT).
It is aimed at staff who are already familiar with Mentimeter, or who are interested in exploring how its AI-powered features can support the design and delivery of interactive teaching activities.
The session will focus on the practical use of AI within Mentimeter, including how AI-generated content and automated response analysis can be used to support preparation, participation and discussion.
During the session we'll cover:
- Generate and adapt questions, quizzes and interactive presentation content with AI
- Organise free-text responses and identify common themes through AI response grouping
- Apply AI-supported outputs to discussion and formative feedback
- Review and refine AI-generated content for teaching
- Explore practical examples of Mentimeter’s AI features, with time for questions
Some familiarity with Mentimeter would be helpful, but advanced experience is not required.
