Our unique Postgraduate Certificate in Tuberculosis (TB) runs again from September 2026. It is an online, completely university-accredited course (60 credits) with formal teaching on all key aspects of TB, including diagnosis and treatment, laboratory and public health aspects covering co-morbidities, complications and drug resistance. It benefits from a world-renowned faculty and recently completely updated course materials.

We are delighted to announce up to five fully funded places for students from Sub-Saharan Africa on this course, thanks to a generous grant from GSK Africa Open Lab.

1)        A short CV (max 2 pages)

2)        A cover letter (max 2 pages), outlining your previous clinical, laboratory or public health experience in TB, the need for TB knowledge and experience in current health/ public health service and how this course will contribute to your career plan as a TB specialist in Sub-Saharan Africa. 

3)        A letter from your employer, confirming their support for you to take this course.
