Chaos and Fractals

Module code: MTH727P

Credits: 15.0
Semester: SEM1

Contact: Prof Oliver Jenkinson

Chaos theory is an area of mathematics that studies dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to changes on their conditions. Chaotic systems exhibit, among others, underlying patterns, feedback loops, repetitions, and fractals. The module will explore this idea, incorporating real-world examples and exploring the tools used to study chaotic systems.
