Credits: 15.0
Semester: SEM1

This module further develops the ideas introduced in the first year probability and statistics modules. It begins by covering some of the essential theoretical notions required, such as covariance, correlation and independence of random variables. It then describes different types of statistical tests and addresses the questions of how to use them and when to use them. This material is essential for applications of statistics in psychology, the life or physical sciences, business or economics.
