Statistics for economics provides students with a comprehensive preparation in basic statistics skills needed for an undergraduate degree in Economics or related field. The statistics course focuses on the development of statistics skills required for success on any economics degree. These include: measures of the centre, spread, skewness and kurtosis of a distribution, probability and probability distributions (binomial, poisson and normal).
