This module builds on the research methods training you have received in the first and second years of your studies by providing you the opportunity to display your skills in tackling a specific research problem relevant to your degree programme. The dissertation must be your own work in all phases including design, data selection/generation, processing and analysis and data interpretation and project write-up. Although the dissertation must be your own independent and original piece of research, you will be supported throughout by a combination of lectures, group workshops and one-to-one supervisions.
