Entry level in French: A2, exit level: B2 (CEFRL). Module designed to provide students with a deeper and more specific knowledge of French grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation and to further develop the four key language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. The course is well balanced between the presentation of the main grammatical concepts by the tutor in seminars and by activity-based, mixed-skills classes which incorporate oral expression and comprehension as well as reading comprehension, written expression and translation. The module is intended primarily for students doing a BA in Modern Languages involving French (Single or Joint Honours degree).
