This module provides an insight into the physicochemical properties, production and utilisation processes and economics of the renewable and carbon neutral/free fuels. These include liquid and gaseous biofuel,
biomass driven fuels (e.g. bio-syngas), hydrogen and hydrogen carriers. Renewable fuel technologies, at different levels of maturity, are discussed and the relevant sustainability issues are identified.
