This module develops the ideas introduced in EMS460U and extends these to look at the differential description of the equations that describe the dynamics of fluids. The module introduces topics of direct industrial relevance, such as the flow in pipeflow, shear stress, and turbulence. In addition, the module initiates the student to the use of 'off the shelf' modelling solutions that will later be used in further modules.
