The module covers the fundamentals of neural networks, and then moves on to cover the most important architectures used in systems such as ChatGPT, Dall-E and Stable Diffusion for understanding and generating natural language text and images.
The module syllabus will closely follow the book: Generative Deep Learning, 2nd Edition, David Foster (O'Reilly Media, 2023).
