This module will build on the knowledge gained in the level 4 Introduction to Financial Accounting module. Students will develop knowledge and skills in understanding and applying accounting standards and the theoretical framework in the preparation of financial statements of entities, including groups and how to analyse and interpret those financial statements.
The academic pass mark for this module is 40% and this module is not part of the ICAEW exemptions.
