In this module we will look at how human cells and tissues behave in states of health and disease. You will explore how cells regulate gene expression in order to modulate metabolic processes, and how this regulation can go wrong in disease states. During this module, you will gain skills in experimental design, handling genome browser data to identify genes of interest based on sequence information, predicting the consequences of gene mutations, and develop skills in presenting data obtained from experimentation.
