The module will focus on presenting science, types and structure of scientific literature, as well as types of journals and the process of peer review. Most of the teaching will be via small-group tutorials where students will develop an appreciation and experience in various aspects of communication in biochemical science. Tutorials will cover approaches to effective short essay writing and delivering scientific talks. Identify and discuss their own career aspirations or relevant skills and knowledge and develop skills to shape and influence their future career and life-long learning. Students will create a podcast on a Biochemistry topic.
