Family Room Officially Opens at Mile End Library

The Family Room at Mile End Library was officially opened on Wednesday 28 October by Deborah Rafalin, Deputy Vice-President (Education) at Queen Mary University of London.
The launch event brought together staff, students and families to celebrate the new space, with activities including refreshments, a scavenger hunt, children's crafts and, of course, plenty of balloons. The occasion highlighted the University's commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for members of its community with caring responsibilities.
A big thank you goes to everyone who attended and helped make the opening such a success.
The Family Room is available for use by staff and students during Library opening hours. Users will need to collect the room key from the Library Welcome Desk. For those wishing to reserve a workspace, the room's two study desks can be booked through the Library’s online booking system.
