Before making your IGALA11 travel plans, you should first check whether you need a visa to enter the UK.

 As of February 2019:

• Nationals of the EU, Switzerland, and EEA countries do not need a visa, and are free to enter and conduct business in the UK.
• Nationals from some designated countries (such as the USA) may travel for tourist or business purposes under a visa exemption. See the link above, if you wish to travel under a visa exemption.
• Other nationals will need a visa to enter the country.
  

If you do need a visa:

A standard visitor visa will be sufficient for the large majority of conference speakers and attendees.
