Liliana Lyra Jubilut is a Professor of International Law, Human Rights and Refugee Law at the Universidade Católica de Santos, Brazil. She holds a PhD and Master in International Law (Universidade de São Paulo) and a LLM in International Legal Studies (NYU School of Law). Liliana has been working with refugees academically and in practice since 1999. Co-coordinator of the Cátedra Sérgio Vieira de Mello UNHCR/UniSantos. Former Lawyer at the Refugee Center of Cáritas Arquidiocesana de São Paulo. Former Consultant of UNHCR-Brazil. Member of the editorial board of the International Refugee Law Series (Martinus Nijhoff - Refugee Law Initiative). Coordinator of a research project of the Ministry of Justice on Migrants in Brazil.
