Profile

Hong Zhang is Professor at Beijing Normal University Law School, having served as its Vice Dean from 2012-2017. Hong Zhang completed her Bachelor in Law (1996-2000), her Master in Administrative Law (2000-2003) and her Ph.D in Administrative Law (2003-2006) at the China University of Political Science and Law. Her research and teaching focus mainly Administrative Law and Administrative Litigation Law, Constitution and Administrative Law in China (English-taught). She is also interested in State Compensation Law and the Theory of Government Regulation.

Hong Zhang serves as Deputy Secretary General of the China Administrative Law Society; Secretary General of the Government Regulation section of the China Administrative Law Society; Member of Administrative Litigation Group of State Development and Reform commission; and as part-time researcher at the State Liability Research Center of the Renmin University Law School.
