In my current role as a senior lecturer in the School of Education at Liverpool John Moores University, I teach across our suite Education and Early Childhood Studies degrees, and act as Director of Studies, supervising a range of doctoral students’ projects on topics associated with my research area. My research focuses largely on stakeholder experiences of social and emotional well-being in the educational space. Amongst my research activities, I have explored the interpretation and enactment of social and emotional learning; SEND policy and provision and its emphasis on social and emotional work in schools; emotions and mathematics; well being and dyslexia; and emotion work within early childhood settings.
