Once in a Song: A Night of Music and Spoken Word

Join us for a night of music and spoken word, Antakshari! 

To celebrate the new play premiering at this year’s Season of Bangla Festival, Once In A Song, the cast and crew are holding this event to honour music and community. All funds raised will go towards paying the cast and crew fairly. 

Tonight, we hope to hold a space for folks to declare themselves through song, rhythm and music. Any language, any style. You are welcome here. 

We will be hosting: 

• Grassroots musicians, poets and performers. 
• An open mic throughout the night.
• A big game of Antakshari: a team game where you have to sing the next song using the last syllable of the opposing team. We welcome all languages to sing their hearts out!
