Queen Mary is pleased to provide a series of webinars and student led events to support you with your journey to higher education  

We are excited to bring back our series of webinars for 2022, designed to help you navigate your journey to higher education

Our online series of webinars and student led events aims to support you through the different stages of the application process 

Each session will provide you with information and practical tips to guide you through your journey to higher education. You will get the chance to hear from current Queen Mary students who have been through it all before.

Student Life at University

Hear from current Queen Mary students on what its really like to study at university

We will cover

  • What academic life is like 
  • How to make the most of social life at uni
  • Time management tips 
  • Managing financially and how to budget
  • Different accommodation options 
  • Being a commuter student

You will also get the chance to ask them any questions about student life and studying at Queen Mary.

How I looked after my Mental Health whilst at university

University can be some of the best years of your life but at the same time it can bring with it unfamiliar situations and feel overwhelming. However, your wellbeing is as important as your studies.

Join our students for this live session where they share some of the challenges they've faced in regards to their mental health and how they overcame them through the support provided. Nobody should have to suffer alone or in silence so this session is about collectively reflecting on the issues students face particularly during their time at university.

London remains the best city in the world to be a university student, according to the QS World Student Cities 2022 surveys and analysis. But at the same time, many myths would have you believe that it's unaffordable for students.
