“English at Queen Mary does feel really modern and unstuffy.”

In these interviews with our students on graduation day, it’s clear they’re advocates for English at Queen Mary. They point to the diversity of modules – focusing on everything from Iraqi and South African texts to English classics – and the encouragement to read them through different prisms, such as feminism or post-colonialism.

With our campus in the East End of London, we also offer the best of both worlds: the excitement of one of the world’s leading cities, and a base to come back to where you’re never far away from a familiar face.
