How we Support You During Your Studies

Our Student Support Officer, Philippa Costello, has a few words to offer before you start in September.

Philippa is a key contact for all undergraduate students with professional support provided in particular for the following areas:

• Extenuating circumstances
• Student support
• Attendance monitoring
• Open days
• Secretary, and member of, Undergraduate Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) and Undergraduate Studies Committee (UGS)
• Assisting with alumni and marketing activities for current and prospective students
• Organising induction for all new UG students
• Social events and administrative support for student led activities e.g. PASS, investment fund, the Economics Society
• Module evaluations and NSS (National Student Survey)
• Assisting with day-to-day degree programmes matters
