Copywriting workshop

Our copywriting workshop will walk you through what you need to know about writing on-brand, succinct and audience-appropriate copy for Queen Mary. As well as discussions around tone of voice, audience and the golden rules, there are also exercises to help you put theory into practice.

What you can expect

The workshop is geared towards all Queen Mary staff. Those who write a lot of marketing copy may find it particularly useful too. The key areas we focus on are:

  • Knowing and approaching your audience, plus a couple of tasks
  • How we talk about Queen Mary
  • Tone of voice rules and exercises
  • Leading with the benefit to the reader
  • Headlines, intro texts and CTAs
  • Bringing it all together (main task)
