The report captures the experience of university leaders from 26 prominent research universities around the world during the devastating Covid-19 pandemic, scanning the challenges and opportunities brought out by the pandemic.

It is a story of crisis, resilience, adaptation, innovation, and transformation - all taking place on the shortest timescale.

It provides an inside view of the pandemic’s many impacts on universities and how they responded, and explores the potential long-
term implications that this global disruption could have on higher education.

Among its findings, the report highlights how sustainability and impact emerged as core elements of university missions.
