Profile

Anna's principal research interests lie in Quaternary Science and understanding the past. Her research involves the development of robust and precise regional chronologies of environmental change and this is key to being able to assess how change is propagated and represented in other types of palaeoenvironmental archives across the North Atlantic region, Europe and beyond. Anna is particularly interested in the application of tephrochronology to palaeoenvironmental sequences in order to link records and test the synchronicity of events. Publications include a number of papers in Journal of Quaternary Science and Quaternary Science Reviews.
