A symposium at the Centre for Studies of Home, a partnership between Queen Mary University of London and the Museum of the Home
This symposium will explore the relationship between domestic space and disability, D/deafness, and neurodiversity, considering how the home shapes (and is shaped by) experiences of difference, disablement, and impairment.
The symposium aims to shed light on disability and the home in historical, contemporary, and theoretical contexts, affording insights and exchange between a broad range of disciplinary approaches.
India Whiteley, AHRC CDA PhD student in English and Geography, is convening the symposium.
