Synposis

This lecture seeks to engage a diverse audience. It is a retrospective on the theoretical and empirical inspirations on which I have drawn in life and career and a series of reflections on what could be termed the ‘dialogism’ of human experience. In other words, the discourse of theory and the discourse of practice converge as a common construction. The lecture ends with reflections on fundamental uncertainty as a driving force of innovation.
