A Life in Science

12 March 2014

Time: 4:00 - 6:30pm
Venue: G E Fogg Lecture Theatre, Mile End Campus, Mile End Road

Join us to celebrate a career in science with a talk delivered by Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, FRS, President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Manchester.  The talk will start promptly at 4pm and will be followed by a reception allowing for networking opportunities.

We are delighted that Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell has agreed to deliver this talk. Professor Rothwell is Co-Chair of the Prime Minister's Council for Science and Technology and was recently appointed as Deputy Lieutenant for Greater Manchester.  She takes a strong and active interest in public communication of science and regularly gives talks and contributes to television, radio and press.  In 2003 she won the prestigious Pfizer Research Prize, in 2004 was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society and in 2005 was honoured with a DBE.

We expect the event to be busy so please Book Your Ticket
