FuturICT: Socially Interactive Information Technologies for a Sustainable Future

Introduction
In response to the European Flagship call, FuturICT is a previously unseen multidisciplinary international scientific endeavour which proposes a10 year 1 billion EUR program. It intends to unify scientists across Europe and use the power of information to explore social life on earth and everything it relates to. This project has the potential to lift our knowledge of social and economic systems providing powerful new ways to manage challenges that make the modern world so difficult to predict.

This event will be of particular interest to Academics and Industry who would like to be involved in interdisciplinary collaboration and funding in this important area.
