EECS Distinguished Lecturer Seminar Series - Andrew Fitzgibbon of Microsoft Research Cambridge

Andrew Fitzgibbon will talk about modelling of 3D objects that can change shape, either in video or from sets of photos.  He describes two approaches that have been used recently: implicit and explicit 3D, and show how they are related.

The EECS Distinguished Lecturer Seminar Series takes place throughout the year. It gives leading Academics and Industrialists the opportunity to present their work to a broader audience. All events will be preceded at 2.45pm by tea and followed at 4pm by a reception, both in the Informatics Hub located on the 3rd. floor of the Computer Science Building, Mile End Road.
