Workshop in Ergodic Theory

30 October 2009

Time: 9:50am
Venue: Engineering Building room 203 (morning) and Francis Bancroft building F2.40 (afternoon)

The workshop is organised by Dr Paulo Oliva, a Research Fellow of the Royal Society. It will bring together researchers from different disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics) to discuss their work and foster new collaborative links.

Speakers will include experts from Carnegie Mellon, Warwick, Darmstadt and East Anglia universities.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided, and the workshop will be followed by a wine reception. This event is sponsored by the Bridging the Gaps project (BTG), a 3 year EPSRC-funded project facilitating multidisciplinary capacity building activities across QMUL. BTG provides funding to pump-prime multidisciplinary research, travel, events and lecture buy-outs.
