Profile

I research mobilities in Africa with particular reference to young people [and other potentially vulnerable groups], where possible drawing on participatory action research approaches, including peer research. The current project I lead involves unemployed young women from the peripheral areas of Abuja, Tunis and Cape Town as peer researchers. Earlier studies I have led have involved children aged c. 11 upwards as peer researchers.
