Profile

Sevim Karaoğlu holds international degrees in early childhood education. Her undergraduate  degree is from Gazi University, MA from the Institute of Education, UCL, and PhD from the University of Sheffield. Her expertise is mainly in play and pedagogy in early childhood education, where she also has teaching experience, with specific interests in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Her research mainly targets preschool teachers' understanding of SEL and children's play, effective leadership and creative drama in early childhood.
