I am Professor of Law and Policy at University College London and a barrister in private practice at Harcourt Chambers in London. I am co-author of OUP's leading text 'Family Law: Text, Cases, and Materials' (4th edn, 2019) and of Class Legal's 'Dictionary of Private Children Law' (2nd edn, 2022), and co-editor of the 'Routledge Handbook of Family Law and Policy' (2nd edn, 2020). I am case notes editor of the Journal of Social Welfare and Family Law, and a member of the International Family Justice Committee.
