PhD student in the design of organohydrogels for tissue engineering and plant-based food.

Profile

Organohydrogels exhibit mechanical properties and versatility for applications in tissue engineering and food industry. My study aims to engineer an organohydrogel to mimic adipose tissue by crosslinking oil-in-water microdroplets. Recombinant protein nanosheets crosslinked with supramolecular chemistry are used to stabilise the mirodroplets.
