Dr Amanda Cole gives first Linguistics Guest Speaker Seminar of the year

For the first Guest Speaker Seminar of 2026-7, Dr Amanda Cole (Cambridge) gave a wonderful talk entitled What is an accent? Dr Cole discussed the socio-historical situation of accent labels like Cockney, SSBE, Estuary English and MLE.
