Queens’ Building EB1

4-4.40pm – How to write a CV and cover letter
This workshop will look at CVs and cover letters for part time, internship and graduate jobs

4.45 – 5.15 – How to make the most of your summer
This will focus on how you can use your summer to gain experience so you are a competitive job candidate when you leave! There will be a short interview and a chance for Q&A with a current linguistics student, who has gained work experience over the previous summers.

 

5.20-6pm – Career Options for Linguists
This workshop will look at how you can decide on a career and explain further resources that can help you in your career choice.

 

Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the afternoon.

The event will be run by interim SLLF careers consultant Abi Sharma, and is run in conjunction with the Department of Linguistics.
