If you require virtual meeting software/video conferencing/secure collaboration, IT Services recommend that you use Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams is licensed, paid for, checked and fully supported by IT Services. Microsoft Live Events can be used to facilitate virtual sessions for up to 10,000 users.
Zoom has similar capabilities to Teams and was previously not supported by IT. Zoom is however used by some sections of Queen Mary so IT Services will support it on a best endeavours basis. We have purchased a limited number of Zoom licences, contact the Service Desk if you require a licence.
Blackboard Collaborate is Queen Mary's main platform for delivering webinars and is fully integrated with our VLE QMplus
