Queen Mary's IT Services provide a SMS Text messaging service. The service allows you to bulk message all staff and students to alert them in an emergency. The University has chosen Janet txt as the application to generate these messages.
The Janet txt service is in turn provided by Oventus a product from Firetext.
You can use this application to manage the configuration of the application, create templates, send SMS messages both simple and personalised via the upload of csv files and monitor the sent messages.
