Professor of Psychiatry and head of the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health of the School of Medicine, Buenos Aires University. Associate Professor of Physiology and Head of the Center of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurology (CENECON), from the same university.

Ignacio has more than 20 years of experience in clinical research studies, physiological processes, pharmacological studies and basic sciences. His training has allowed him to complement the area of research with teaching, and apply his knowledge in the field of clinical assistance, articulating the three areas.

Ignacio is the principal investigator in Argentina of the GLOBE study.
