The Lifelong Health theme is led by a team of four Academic and Deputy Academic Leads, with support from a Project Manager and a cross-Faculty working group.
Professor Sian Henson is a Professor in Immunology at the William Harvey Research Institute. She is interested in the metabolic requirements of primary human senescent T cells.
Professor Li Chan is a Reader in Molecular Endocrinology and Metabolism at the William Harvey Research Institute. She is also an Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology at Barts Health NHS Trust.
The Deputy Academic Leads support the Academic Leads in directing the theme's strategy and are also responsible for the education activities associated with the theme.
Dr Matthew Caley is a Senior Lecturer in Cell Biology at the Blizard Institute.
Dr Emanuel Rognoni is a Senior Lecturer at the Blizard Institute.
Our working group is made up of academics from across the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. They provide oversight for the theme's activities and support the academic leads in developing the intellectual life of the theme. Current members include:
