Workshops
The Street Party invited residents to take part in a series of workshops, exploring what home means to them. Artists Janetka Platun arranged a Globe making workshop; Sue Mayo produced a long map of Kingsland Road in the Settlement Workshop; Public Works invited residents to the Home and Hospitality installation; and Eastside Community Heritage recorded people's experiences and memories of food along Kingsland Road in the Food Museum.
Globe Making
Resdients joined Janekta Platun in making their very own globes, exploring home and belonging.
Home and Hospitality
Artists Public Works reconstructed a public living room to discuss epxeriences and memories of hosting guests in the home.
Food museum
East Side Community heritage invited visitors to share memories about food, reminiscing favorite meals and places to eat along Kingsland Road.
Settlements
Theatremaker, Sue Mayo, invited residetns to recreate a long map of real and imaginary places on Kingsland Road with found objects.
