Ajit Mishra, India chapter leadWhy did you decide to get involved with the India Chapter?

Having worked in the UK and India for more than a decade, I think that joining the CCLS India Chapter is an extension of my interest in the indo-British business corridor. It is an opportunity to expand my network and give something back to the institution.

What do you think the importance of the CCLS India Chapter is?

CCLS is a very well regarded institution in India and internationally, hence it attracts some of the finest lawyers and law graduates from India. Having an India Chapter will also give an opportunity for students to remain connected and benefit from the alumni network.

How do you hope the Chapter will benefit alumni who join?

There are various benefits associated to anyone who joins the Chapter which indeed are obvious for anyone to foresee. Having said so, it’s important for any professional to belong to an association and for any student to be part of their school’s alumni network. The CCLS India Chapter is not only an alumni network but is also a professional association. It’s a platform for everyone to share and pass on their experience with peers and colleagues. The India Chapter brings a commonness and prestige among its members, wherein they can not only connect to other members but can also freely and regularly share their experiences.
