Eric Heinze, Professor of Law and Humanities at Queen Mary University of London, will deliver a lecture on ‘Hate Speech and Democratic Citizenship’ at the University of Leicester on 21 October 2015. The lecture will address ways of combating violence and discrimination against vulnerable groups without undermining freedom of expression, which is argued as an essential attribute of democratic citizenship.
