Queen Mary has a long history of welcoming students from around the World. Over the years, many thousands of international students have graduated from the college and gone on to pursue successful careers. Today, we are home to students from more than 100 different countries. This diversity contributes to a lively and welcoming community which should make you feel comfortable and at home.
One of the largest colleges of the University of London and one of the few with fully integrated teaching, research and residential facilities, our setting gives you the benefits both of a large campus environment and of the countless academic and social opportunities of London.

Recognition of Iraqi Qualifications for Foundation Course Entry
Academic:
- QM accepts students holding the Adadiyah (Certificate of Preparatory Education / Sixth Form Baccalauréat) with an overall grade of 80% for Foundation Course entry.
- Please refer to the prospectus and department web sites for individual subject A-level and IB requirements.
English:

- Students with A-levels or IB will not require IELTS or TOEFL

Recognition of Iraqi Qualifications for Graduate Entry
Master's degrees (all one year)
Academic:
- The exact requirements will depend on the programme you are applying for but QM generally considers applicants holding a Bachelor degree with an overall of 70% from a recognised Iraqi university for Master’s entry. Students applying for the LLM require 80% or above.
- Please note that all applications are considered on an individual basis and students may be admitted to Master's programmes with a lower level degree if they have work experience relevant to the degree applied for.

Research degree (MPhil/PhD: 3 years)
Academic:
- The usual entrance requirement for a research degree is a Master's degree from a recognised Iraqi university.
