Entry requirements

 

Recognition of Iraqi Qualifications for Foundation Course Entry

Academic:

  • QM accepts students holding the Adadiyah (Certificate of Preparatory Education / Sixth Form Baccalauréat) with an overall grade of 80% for Foundation Course entry.
  • Please refer to the prospectus and department web sites for individual subject A-level and IB requirements.

Recognition of Iraqi Qualifications for Graduate Entry

Master's degrees (all one year)

Academic:

  • The exact requirements will depend on the programme you are applying for but QM generally considers applicants holding a Bachelor degree with an overall of 70% from a recognised Iraqi university for Master’s entry. Students applying for the LLM require 80% or above.
  • Please note that all applications are considered on an individual basis and students may be admitted to Master's programmes with a lower level degree if they have work experience relevant to the degree applied for.

Research degree (MPhil/PhD: 3 years)

Academic:

  • The usual entrance requirement for a research degree is a Master's degree from a recognised Iraqi university.
