It brought together 4 speakers and 4 commentators specializing in legal theory. In his presentation, Dr Gur discussed how a virtue-focused approach to ethics relates to his past and present work on the topic of law’s normativity—and, particularly, on the question of whether and how law affects people’s right actions and desirable attitudes.

Dr Noam Gur is Senior Lecturer in Law at Queen Mary University of London.
