Rukshana HoqueWhy did you decide to get involved with the CCLS UK Chapter?

Studying my master’s degree at CCLS brings back such fond memories, and I am sure there are many others who share my affection for the time when they too walked the corridors. Being a part of this initiative means recognising the importance of the alumni community with their shared experiences and doing our best to honour it.

What do you think the importance of the UK Chapter is?

I think it will become a pivotal forum for alumni to stay connected, not only as part of a rich network of great legal minds but also to remain a part of CCLS’s ongoing story.

How do you hope the Chapter will benefit alumni who join?

I hope alumni will rediscover old friendships with those they don’t get to see quite enough of and perhaps also discover new ones. At the very least, it might be an excuse for those living or working away to come into central London, find themselves a sunny spot on the grass at Lincoln’s Inn Fields and take in the buzzing atmosphere!
